The Delisle Chiefs of the Prairie Junior Hockey League (PJHL) announced today that their Coaching Staff from 2019-20 will all return to the fold for the 2020-21 PJHL Season.

Head Coach and GM Eric DITTO (Saskatoon, SK) will return to guide the Chiefs for his 7th yearbehind the bench. The ‘20-’21 campaign marks his 6th full season as Head Coach and 2nd yearas the team’s General Manager.

Delisle went 26-3 over their last 29 games (including playoffs). They finished in 2nd spot in thePJHL Bob Dybvig North Division and 3rd over-all in the ‘19-’20 PJHL Regular Season. They sweptthe Saskatoon Royals 4-0 in their opening round playoff series and were preparing to face the Saskatoon Quakers in the PJHL North Division Finals when the PJHL Season was cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The team is looking to build off that strong final 3+ months of action.

Anthony RADKE (Spiritwood, SK) returns for his 2nd season as an Assistant Coach behind the Chiefs bench. Ditto is happy to have the former Chiefs Captain back in a coaching role.“Anthony was given a lot of responsibility last year. He took off and ran with it. I’m excited tohave him back with more experience to really be able to lead as a coach.”

Ryan PILON (Duck Lake, SK) returns for his 2nd season behind the bench, his first full season with the team after joining the Chiefs part way through 2019-20. Pilon was an Assistant Coach with the Beardy’s Blackhawks U18 AAA. Ditto knows he can rely on Pilon for the hockey knowledge and coaching experience he brings to the team. “Ryan adds an element to our staff that our players can really benefit from and his hockey knowledge is undeniable. We’re lucky to have a defensive specialist like Ryan join our team and be a part of the process right from the beginning.”
