A yearly tradition is set to stop around west-central Saskatchewan once again this holiday season.

The CP Holiday Christmas Train recently unveiled their schedule for the Christmas season. As part of it's journey through Saskatchewan in early December, the Holiday Train will be making stops in both Wilkie and Macklin on December 6.

In Wilkie they will be setup at the CPKC station on 1st avenue in the parking lot. Macklin's train will be setup in the field adjacent to the railway track at Press Avenue and Leader Street.

Live performances are part of the program as well. The mentioned stops will have the band 'Anyway Gang' performing, one of five groups hopping on the train between November 21 and December 19.

After that the train will make it's way through Alberta, before finishing its trek in Port Coquitlam.
