It will be a special day at Baker Park in Kindersley tomorrow.

Better Together Kindersley will once again be hosting a bunch of fun events.

Marge Bailey with Better Together Kindersley, who is putting on the events, talks about what else the group will be doing tomorrow afternoon.

“We are presenting Better Together t-shirts to honor our healthcare workers. We have the Heritage Manor and the Health Centre workers coming over at 1:00 pm. We'll be presenting at least 40 shirts to them and honoring them.”

The group will also be holding a special presentation later in the afternoon.

“Then at 2:15 pm, we have our Caleb Village people coming over. We're going to present things to them. And then just before our tug of war, we're going to present shirts to the firemen that we didn't give to last year because they are such a big part of helping us with July 1,” Bailey added.

Also included during the afternoon will be live entertainment which will begin around 12:30 pm, as Bailey explains.

“Troy McNaughton will be on the stage. He lived in Nashville for about 12 years and did a lot of recording and backup singing for groups there. He then returned to Saskatchewan, traveled a lot, and does quite a bit of entertaining for a lot of groups like ours, as well as in the lodges. So that's why he is going to Heritage Manor, and Caleb Village for us as well, while he's here that weekend.”
