The Kindersley Klippers (0-2-1-0) have not had an easy schedule to start out their 25th anniversary season.

First it was a home-and-home set against the defending-champion Battlefords North Stars followed by a Wednesday night showdown versus the undefeated Humboldt Broncos.

Tonight will be a similar situation for the Klippers as they host another team who have yet to lose a game.

The Estevan Bruins (2-0-0-0) will be in town as the hoopla builds around town for the 45th Annual Goose Festival. Not only is this a big game for Klippers fans since it coincides with the festival, but it's an even bigger game for their team as they go for their first win of the year.

Estevan has only played two games before this matchup against a Melville Millionaires squad who struggled to make the playoffs last season. Although, the Klippers will not be underestimating their opponents.

The Bruins finished tops in their division in 2016-2017 with the fourth best record in the league. They also racked up the 1,516 penalty minutes, second-most in the league behind Kindersley's 1717 PIMs. Even though both teams are looking to bring those numbers down this season, expect a game with lots of rough stuff at the West Central Events Centre.

Justen Close and the Klippers defenders will have a busy night ahead as the Bruins' attack is looking sharp yet again this year. Estevan scored nine goals in their two games against the Millionaires and they will be working to keep the hot sticks going in Kindersley.

Below is a look at Estevan's top point-getters thus far:
