The calls to service for the Unity, Wilkie and Macklin RCMP detachments from January 4 to 10 included two sudden deaths not suspicious in nature, a complaint of assault, and a complaint of a break and enter at an oil site north of Macklin. UNITY REPORTS
· RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision near Salvador. This matter is still under investigation.
· Police are investigating a complaint of an individual not complying with a probation order.
· Members received a report of an abandoned vehicle parked at a business. The business owner contacted the registered owner who agreed to move the vehicle.
· RCMP attended the sudden death of an 81-year-old male in Denzil. The death was not suspicious in nature.
· Members are investigating a complaint of harassing communications.
· Police received a complaint of assault. Members attended and spoke to the complainant and subject of complaint. The complainant requested no further action be taken.
· RCMP attended the sudden death of a 77-year-old Unity male. The death was not suspicious in nature.
· Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.
· There was also one false 911 call.
WILKIE REPORTS
· RCMP conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family member.
· Police are investigating a complaint of an individual not complying with a probation order.
· Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.
· RCMP conducted a curfew check where the subject of complaint was not at the approved residence at the time of curfew. This matter is still under investigation.
· There was also one traffic complaint.
MACKLIN REPORT
· RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at an oil site north of Macklin. This matter is still under investigation.
· Police received a report of a suspicious person near St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Members attended but it was unfounded.
· Members acted as mediators in a family disagreement.
· RCMP spoke to an individual regarding a peace bond.
