It was a closely contested matchup last night between the Oyen Eagles and Rosetown Angels.

The Angels won game one by a score of 11-8 last week and were looking for the two-game sweep.

The teams played out of Kindersley due to a rainout on Tuesday night in Rosetown.

Oyen built a 7-4 lead into the later innings, but the Angels stormed back with four big runs in the bottom of the sixth and took an 8-7 lead into the top of the seventh.

Oyen had the tying run at third base, but could not push him cross, and the Angels held on for a one run victory.

Rosetown will play the Kindersley Stallions in FVBL finals, which will start this Sunday at 8:30 pm from Berard Field once again.
