Two deaths have been reported today in relation to COVID-19.

There are 69 new positive cases in the province along with 50 recoveries.

Just one of the new cases are in the central-west zone, Saskatoon, central-east, and southeast all have 13 cases each, north-central has seven, Regina has six, the far northwest zone and south-central have two, the far northeast and northwest have one case each, and there are 10 cases with pending residence information.

1,014 cases are considered active and of those cases, 149 of them are being treated in hospital.

115 patients are receiving inpatient care and 34 people are in the ICU. 68% of those people were not fully vaccinated.

There are  seven people receiving intensive care in Ontario and they are not included in today's case count.

Since yesterday, one patient has returned back to Saskatchewan.

The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 103.
