Premier Brad Wall has unveiled a new look in the cabinet, as promised after last spring’s election.

6 ministers are switching positions, and 4 MLAs will be added to the cabinet.

The new cabinet ministers are Joe Hargrave, Bronwyn Eyre, Tina Beaudry-Mellor, and David Marit.

Minister of labour and education Don Morgan is Saskatchewan's new deputy premier, in place of Don McMorris, who resigned earlier this month after being charged with impaired driving.

Jeremy Harrison will be responsible for the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, as well as the Global Transportation Hub, and will be the minister of the economy, which was the job of long time cabinet minister Bill Boyd.

Premier Wall has reduced the number of ministers by one, which he believes will save taxpayers around $450,000 a year.

The cabinet now has 4 women and 13 men, sitting at 17 members, including Brad Wall.
