The Rosetown Royals Senior Football team is slated to start early morning practices next Monday, August 22nd at 7 am. Numbers for this year's team should settle in somewhere in the neighbourhood of 26-30 kids. Coach Murray Ernst of the Rosetown Royals, talked with West Central Online about the team and indicated that although he won't know numbers until school is in full swing, the number does look like it should approach 30.

Coach Ernst identiifed his upcoming grade 11 players on offense as potentially being the team's strength. He noted the offense is loaded with very athletic kids at all the skill positions on offense. Coach also noted that while they have a lot of talent on the offensive and defensive lines, as of right now, numbers will be a little bit of a challenge.

Coach Ernst also went on to say that this year, they'll be heading to Saskatoon on Saturday August 20th to practice on the Saskatoon Hilltops practice field with a couple other communities, Hague and Hanley.
