The summer has almost come and gone, and with it, a fresh, new hockey season awaits. West Central Online checked in with Stephen Gibson, the President of the Outlook Minor Sports Board, about how hockey registration was coming along so far. Gibson told West Central Online that as of now they were up in around the 80 mark, up over last year's 65-70 number. He also noted that in some of the younger catagories, two teams have been created to keep up with the uptick in registration. Gibson also stated they'd most likely have the ice in by October 1st, and be practising on it by the second week in October.
