The Outlook Blues began practising for the new football season at 6:30 am this morning. West Central Online chatted with the head coach of the program Jess Michalchuk about how the season is shaping up, and the coach said with LCBI offerring free tuition now, they may lose some kids to that school, and he won't really know full numbers til closer to the September 1st opener against Davidson. He said he hopes to have just over 20 kids for this season, but that number could be closer to 15 by the time the season gets rolling. Jess also mentioned there's been big division and conference re-alignments this year, with Outlook playing against Hanley, Assiniboia and Davidson in coference 3 in the 2A division.

Coach Michalchuk also noted program enrollment is up at the junior level, and team's participating in the league this year is up as well. There are 51 teams participating in either the 1A or 2A divisions this year.
