The Special Olympics program for Kindersley and district rolled their way to a few gold medals at the recent Bob Pedde Annual Bowling Tournament. Both team and individual hardware was earned as two teams from Kindersley made the trip to Hunters Eastview Bowl in Saskatoon for the two day event.

Taking part in the 5-pin portion, 10 athletes total came out of the Kindersley program. Earning a gold medal was Kindersley Team 1 consisting of Louis German, Irene Suru, Wyatt Lagasse, Chad Riendeau, and Joey Phillips. Out of that group, individual medals went to Lagasse for Gold in Class 9, Riendeau for bronze in Class 8, and Suru with a silver in women's Class 6.
