According to a newly released report, on March 11 the Kindersley RCMP received a call about  a vehicle theft at a local dealership. While investigating they were able to track down and recover the vehicle in Calgary.

Further investigation revealed that two suspects from Calgary were in Kindersley at the same time as the theft. They were also in possession of other unrelated stolen property. Both were arrested by Kindersley RCMP. 

In addition to the recovery, the Kindersley RCMP Detachment responded to 96 other calls for service between the dates of March 11 and March 24.

These calls included but were not limited: 

  • Two impaired driving investigations, 
  • Two drug possession investigations that resulted in charges 
  • Seven theft complaints
